95. Великие тайны языка.Существительные ( Костыренкова Л.Н.)

    Английский язык.
    11 класс.

    Базовый уровень.
    Тема урока. Великие тайны языка. Существительные.
    Общее количество часов, отведенное на изучение темы-1час.
    Место урока в системе уроков по теме -6 урок.
    Цели урока.
    Образовательная. Ознакомление учащихся с употреблением существительных в единственном и множественном числе. Повторение и тренировка учащимися исчисляемых и неисчисляемых существительных в грамматических упражнениях. 
    Воспитательная. Воспитание интереса к предмету, к учению английского языка. Воспитание воли, умения преодолевать трудности, познавательной активности и самостоятельности, настойчивости.
    Развивающая. Развитие волевых качеств учащихся, самостоятельности, умения преодолевать трудности в учении. Развивать умение раскрывать причинно-следственные связи, корректно вести дискуссию, сравнивать и анализировать и делать выводы.
    Задачи урока:
    1)ознакомить учащихся с типами существительных в английском языке:
    2)формировать и совершенствовать умения и навыки употребления множественного и единственного числа в речи учащихся;
    3) способствовать развитию памяти, логического мышления;
    4)способствовать повышению интереса в изучении английского языка.
    Планируемые результаты. Учащиеся  научатся  ставить существительные из единственного числа в множественное число, повторят употребление исчисляемых и неисчисляемых существительных, расширят свои познания в грамматике по данной теме.

    Содержание урока.
    
    1.Организационный момент (приветствие, проверка готовности к уроку).
    
    T: Good morning. It is nice to see you again.
    Ss: Good morning.
    T: Thank you. You may sit down. Who is absent?
    Ss: Ivanov is ill.
    T: Ok. Let us begin our lesson. 
    
    2. Проверка домашнего задания.
    
    T: Your hometask was in your workbook. You should do exercises 1 and 2 at page 62. You should use inversion in all the sentences. Was it difficult for to do this task? Are there persons who are not ready with their home task?
    Ss: Everything was clear. 
    T: Hand over your work books. I will check your exercises and give you a mark.

    T: Repeat after me.

    4. Постановка темы, целей и задач урока.
    
    T: I pronounced some words and you repeated them after me. Try to guess what will be the theme of our lesson. What will we speak about? Why should we study this part of speech ? What will you be able to do after this lesson?
    Ss: I think we will speak about nouns.
    Ss: Nouns are very important in English and without them we cannot make up sentences.
    Ss: We may revise something about nouns and come to know new things about this part of speech.
    Ss: We may have some grammar exercises using nouns.
    Ss: We may have some practice for our final state exam.
    Ss: We may enlarge our knowledge about nouns.
    
    5.  Изучение нового материала.
    
    T: You are right in everything.  So the theme of our lesson is a noun. Language is our primary source of communication. It's the method through which we share our ideas and thoughts with others. We have been studing English for 10 years already but still we do not use some things in the language properly. That is why we should master the language and discover something new every time we open our textbooks. English grammar will always have some new mysteries for you to study and revise. I will show 2 video films. Watch them very attentively. We will do some tasks then.
    T: Was everything clear for you? I think that some facts about nouns were not new for you at all. But it was useful for you to revise and refresh nouns in your memory. I am ready with a presentation about nouns and it has some new information for you. Now I ask you to watch it and write everything which seems to you new into your copybooks. Good luck. Ready - Go.

    6. Динамическая пауза.
    
    T: Now stand up. Come here. I would like to suggest you to do the following task I will divide you into 2 groups. I have drawn a table at the blackboard and you can see 2 columns. The first column is for countable nouns and the second one is for uncountable nouns. Each group will have a set of nouns. Each member of your group should take a word and put it into the column .he thinks this word belongs to. Group№1 has the cards with green words. Group№2 has the cards with red words. I will switch on the music you should start doing your task. Ready. Go.

    7. Совершенствование, применение знаний и умений, их систематизация (закрепление).  
    
    T: Now open your textbooks at page 142 exercise 4. 
    Let us do this task orally.
    Choose the correct verb form. Which three nouns can take either a singular or plural verb? Why? 
    Ss: 1 The information I got was wrong. 
    2 The traffic is very bad today. 
    3 Let me give you some advice. 
    4 Maths is my favourite subject. 
    5 The cabin crew is very efficient. 
    6 My luggage has been lost. 
    7 Measles is usually caught by children. 
    8 The team is warming up for the match. 
    9 Her hair is very long. 
    10 The sheep was/were in the field. 
    11 People want a new government. 
    12 Ј150 is all you will need for the trip. 
    13 The police are investigating the murder. 
    14 Money doesn't make you happy. 
    15 The news was very depressing. 
    16 These trousers are too big. 
    17 The stairs are very steep. 
    Такие предложения должны получиться у учащихся в процессе работы. При проверке использовался фронтально-индивидуальный опрос.
    
    T: Now I suggest you to work in pairs. Do exercise5 at page 143. The first variant will do sentences with a letter A and the second variant with a letter B. Then exchange your copybooks and give marks to each other. I will give you 3 minutes to do this task. In 3 minutes I will show you the right answers at the blackboard and you will be able to check your neighbor and give her or him a mark. Please comment your mark later on.

    Ученики проверяют в парах упражнение  и  выставляют оценки.
    
    Слабоуспевающим учащимся на этом этапе нужно предложить работу с карточками. Задания в карточках по типу заполнения таблицы существительными. Дается набор существительных, которые нужно соотнести по колонкам множественного и единственного числа.
    
    T: Now I will dictate the nouns in singular and you are to write them down in your copybooks in plural.

    Ss: To enrich our speech.
    Ss: To master the language.
    T: Did you come to know anything new at the lesson?
    Ss: Sure we did. 
    T: Will you use plural and singular nouns in your speech correctly?
    Ss:  We will do our best. 
    T: Did we refresh our knowledge about countable and uncountable nouns at the lesson?
    Ss: Yes we did.

    T: Your home task will be in your workbook. You should do exercises 3 at page 62. In a lesson I will return your workbooks and you will have a chance to do your homework there. Read a text at page 10 about Trans-Siberian Railway in the section «Spotlight on Russia».
