Мир такой разный» 13 Место урока в системе уроков по теме вводный 1-й урок модуля 8 при изучении темы “Путешествия” Цели урока: Практическая - развитие коммуникативных умений в рамках предложенной темы; Образовательная - развитие познавательных способностей учащихся на основе предложенной информации; Развивающая - развитие навыков поиска нужной информации и логичности в построении иноязычных высказываний; Воспитательная - оказание помощи обучающимся с определением потребности к самореализации, расширению кругозора. Задачи урока Организовать знакомство учащихся с содержанием модуля 8; Развивать умение оперировать в процессе общения активной лексикой в соответствии с коммуникативной задачей; Учить работать с информацией, выделять главное; Создать условия положительной мотивации для изучения темы “Путешествия”. Планируемые результаты уметь работать с информацией представленной в различной форме (тексты, картинки, таблицы и т.д.); уметь планировать собственную деятельности по изучению предложенной темы учебника уметь прогнозировать результаты собственной деятельности Техническое обеспечение урока: учебник SPOTLIGHT 11 (Student’s book), одноязычные толковые словари, компьютер, проектор, презентация, карточки с заданиями. Nice to see you again! Cl: Hello, teacher! T: Sit down, please! How are you today? P1, P2, P3 (отвечают на вопрос) T: I am glad you are fine! Let’s start our English lesson. 2. Введение в тему. T: Today we begin the new module 8. Let’s try to guess its topic. I have prepared a crossword puzzle for you. If you guess all the words correctly, you will be able to name the topic of our module. You should work in groups. 1. You buy it, if you want to go by bus, by plane or by train. (ticket) 2. Name the synonym of the word “seldom” ( rare) 3. Where can you see a lot of planes? ( airport) 4. A long journey in a ship is called ... (voyage) 5. You can leave a public room, building through a special door. (exit) 6. Name the antonym to the world “hate”. (love) Учащиеся разгадывают в группах кроссворд (Приложение 1) T: Now you see that the topic of our module is:”Travel”. But we’ll start with a journey over our Module 8. (слайд 1) 3.Речевая зарядка. Определение целей и задач урока: T~Cl T: Read aloud the proverbs about travelling and make a conclusion what we’ll do on the lesson today. (слайд 2) Ss: (читают, при необходимости переводят пословицы) The road doesn’t tell the traveler what lies ahead. ~ Bantu Proverb If you are planning to travel where corn grows, you should take a sickle with you. ~ Ethiopian Proverbs T: Do you know the road of our travel through module8? Where can we find the plan of our travel? Ss: We should learn about module 8 and its content before we start working with it. II Основной этап. Знакомство с основным содержанием модуля. T: Look at page 137 with the plan of the module and say what you will learn about. Ss: We’ll learn about places, airports and air travel as well as how to seek permission, make a request and use emphatic phrases. 1. Работа с иллюстрациями модуля, подготовка к выполнению заданий по описанию картинок раздела «Говорение» ГИА - учащиеся описывают картинки по наводящим вопросам или (на более продвинутом уровне) по предложенному плану в парах закрытого типа P1~P2 T: Let’s have a more attentive look at Module 8. Find pages for each picture and guess what information it contains. You are to work in pairs using the questions\plan on the cards (Приложение 2: разноуровневые задания для работы в парах по описанию картинок). Контроль выполнения задания в парах открытого типа: Picture 1 (p.151) T: What page is picture 1 from? S1: It’s from page 151. T: What can you see in picture 1? S1: I can see an ornate building. T: What is it made of? S1: It looks like it is made of stone, etc. 2. Дифференцированная работа с ключевыми понятиями модуля (более слабые учащиеся работают с толковыми словарями, основная масса учащихся конструируют определения из предложенных частей, продвинутые составляют определения по схеме Приложение 3) P1~P2 Т: Find the page number for key words of this module and find out definitions to them on the cards or from English- English dictionaries or make your own definition according to the scheme. S1: Paintings (p. 150) are pictures which someone has painted Т: Which artist are these paintings by? What do you show? Which one do you like best? S2: A leaflet (p. 149) is a little book or a piece of paper containing information about a particular subject) T: What is the leaflet about? Is it attractive? Have you ever been to the USA? S3: An author’s biography (p. 144) is facts about author’s life T: Whose biography is this? When did he live? What did he write? Have you read any of his books? 3. Работа со структурой модуля T: Let’s study each section of the module and see the tasks listed in the module. (слайд 3) S: The module has: ― a Literature section ― a Culture Corner ― an Across the Curriculum section ― a Going Green section T: What each section is about? S1: The Literature section is usually about authors, books and literature extracts. This one (pp.144-145) is about Jonathan Swift and has an extract from one of his works, ‘Gulliver’s Travels.’ S2: The Culture Corner (p. 149) contains a leaflet giving advice about what we should consider when we visit the USA. S3: The Across the Curriculum section (p. 150) tells about Art & Design and Paul Cezanne’s paintings. S4: The Going Green section always gives information on different ecological issues. This particular one (p. 151) is about Eco-Tourism and why it is important to preserve the places we visit on holiday. 4. Работа со списком заданий модуля T: Look at the list of tasks of our module. What are the tasks listed in the module? (слайд 4) S1: We’ll listen, read and talk about places airports and air travel Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift a biography of Jonathan Swift manners in the USA landscape paintings Eco-tourism S2: We’ll learn how to seek permission make a request use emphatic phrases request help - agree/refuse S3: We’ll practise inversions so, neither/ nor quantifiers countable/uncountable nouns phrasal verbs “check” idioms about the weather prepositional phrases related to travel S4: We’ll write a summary of Gulliver’s Travels an article describing a place a leaflet giving advice on manners to foreigners visiting your country a sketch of your local landscape a short talk about a World Heritage Site 5. Личностная оценка уровня владения умениями, указанными в модуле и прогнозирование результатов собственной деятельности T: Go through the lists and put a tick next to the items that you think you know or can do, a cross next to the ones you don’t know or are not sure about, and a star next to the ones they think will be the most useful. Ss (озвучивают выбранные и классифицированные пункты) I think I know... I can ... I don’t know... I’m not sure... The most useful in the module is... III Этап. Объяснение домашнего задания с.138, упр.1 T: Read the texts to learn the information about the places we’re going to travel next lesson. Choose the place you like most and explain why. IV Этап. Подведение итогов урока. Выставление оценок. T: What’s your personal opinion about the module we’re going to study? При необходимости учащиеся снабжаются клише для выражения собственного мнения (слайд 5): I think \ believe \ suppose \ consider In my opinion To my mind As far as I can see module 8 is \ seems \ looks absolutety very rather quite a bit interesting amusing boring amusing frightening Учащиеся выражают собственное мнение.
