Цели урока:
социокультурный аспект — знакомство со структурой отчета по работе ресторана;
развивающий аспект — развитие зрительной и слуховой памяти,
внимания;
воспитательный аспект — осознание своей культуры через контекст культуры
англоязычных стран, воспитание уважения по отношению к другим культурам,
уважительного отношения к собеседнику, формирование уверенности в себе
и своих силах;
учебный аспект — формирование навыков письма;
Задачи урока:
-практиковать учащихся в употреблении слов, относящихся к теме «В ресторане»;
- практиковать учащихся в употреблении служебных частях речи;
- совершенствовать навыки письма «Отзыв на работу ресторана»;
- совершенствовать навыки письма-отзыва.
Планируемые результаты:

I. Организационный момент
Учитель: Good morning children. How are you today?
Учащиеся: Fine, thanks.
II. Речевая зарядка:
Учитель: Do you always eat at home?
- Where can you eat?
- Do you prefer to eat at a restaurant or at home?
- How often do you eat in a restaurant?
- Who do you usually go with?
- What did you eat the last time you ate at a restaurant?
-What is the most expensive meal you have ever eaten?
- What is the most expensive restaurant that you have ever been to?
III. Целеполагание.
Учитель: Today we are going to speak about the restaurant. The topic of the lesson is “Did you like the restaurant?” (Слайд №1) We are going to write a report and give recommendations to visit it or not. You will learn how to analyze your partner’s report.

V. Проверка домашнего задания.
Give recommendations for a school canteen, a café. Hand in copy books with the advantages and disadvantages of eating in a school canteen, a café and at home.
VI. Организация чтения с целью извлечения запрашиваемой информации.
Учитель: There are some quotes about restaurants. Read them and fill the table. People go to restaurants for many reasons. What is important for them? Write the numbers of quotes. (Приложение №1)

Учитель: Restaurants are usually judged by the services they provide to their guests. Needless to say, most of the times, waiters are the first point of contact for guests. Read the texts about waiters and name the qualities of a good waiter.

Работа в группах
Учитель: The task for the first group: You work as a journalist of Nice ‘n’ Tasty magazine your editor has asked you to write a report on Supermac, a new fast food restaurant, assessing its general quality and saying whether you would recommended it to the readers of your magazine.
The task for the second group: You work for the Healthy Eating Society and you have been asked to report on a new health food takeaway, commenting on its good and bad points and assessing whether it would be suitable for members of the society.
The task for the third group: You are a class representative and the headmaster has asked you to write a report on the quality of the school canteen, assessing whether it is meeting students’ needs and making any recommendations.
You have to do only one report for the hole group according to the plan. One person will do the beginning of the report and the introduction, two persons will write the main body, two other ones will write the conclusion.

Учитель: After you have finished writing your report, swap papers with the other members of the groups. (упр.13 стр.114). You should check the reports. Here are the questions which will help you. (Приложение №4-5, Слайд №10)

4) Say where you prefer having a party
5) Explain why
(учащиеся сравнивают две фотографии. Сильные учащиеся делают это без опоры, а для средних и слабых детей есть опора в виде фраз-клише.) (Приложение №6)

Домашнее задание (дифференцированное)
Now it’s time to write your homework. Use the information from the book, what you’ve learnt today. You read some reports at the previous lessons, heard the student’s reports, you’ve done your own reports in groups, you’ve checked each other’s reports and analyze them. So you are ready to write a report of the restaurant you like.
