How are you? II. Речевая зарядка. 1. What season is it now? 2. What season comes after it? 3. What is the hottest season? 4. What are your associations with it? 5. Do you have good or bad travel experience? III. Проверка домашнего задания. Ex. 3 p. 174. Put the verbs in brackets into the past perfect or the past perfect continuous. Ex. 4 p. 174. Join the sentences using the words in brackets. Use the correct tense. IV. Целеполагание. 1. What kind of travel experience was described in all the sentences in your homework? 2. Do you know how to avoid problems while travelling? 3. What are we going to speak today about? (We are going to make a plan of travelling. We will make some tips for travelers). V. Активация лексического материала. 1. Let’s make a mind map. 2. Where can tourists go? (Add to your mind maps – to different countries, to the seaside, abroad etc.). 3. What things should they take? Ex. 5 p. 87 a) Read the theory box, then complete Emily’s lists with the words below. b) Read the theory box. Listen and underline the stressed part(s). Study the diagram, then complete the sentences with the correct phrasal verb. 6. What should you do to avoid problems while travelling? Ex. 8 p. 87 Read the sentences, choose the correct word and make up some tips for travelers. Use planes to travel fast. Don’t be late. Don’t leave your passport at home. (Add them to your mind maps).
