Афанасьевой О.В., Дули Д, Михеевой И.В., 2012 Уровень обучения базовый. Тема урока: «Домашнее чтение. «Дети железной дороги». Общее количество часов, отведенное на изучение темы - 1 час. Место урока в системе уроков по теме: 8 урок. Цель урока: Формирование навыков чтения английской литературы и умения строить самостоятельные высказывания. Задачи урока. Обучающая: закрепить новый грамматический и лексический материал. Развивающая: развивать способности к продуктивным речевым действиям. Воспитательная: ознакомить учащихся с английской литературой. Здоровьесберегающая: предупредить переутомления учащихся путем смены деятельности и использования динамических пауз. Техническое обеспечение урока: компьютер. Содержание урока. 1. Орг. момент. T: -Good morning! Glad to see you again! - Sit down! Let’s start our lesson! 2. Постановка задач. -Now we are going to read the novel from English literature in our textbooks Еx:1, page 34. -Look at the picture and the title of the novel “The Railway Children”. Have you got the general idea of it is about? When do you think the story took place? -Who are the main characters? What is the main idea of this story? -Answer my questions please. -Now we shall start to read about the author. Edith Nesbit. (Read and translate the information). 3. Решение лексических задач. T: Let’s do some lexical exercises page 16 in your workbooks. (Учащиеся выполняют лексические упражнения). ex. 1 Fill in missing words in the sentences; ex. 2 Match the words and complete the sentences; ex. 3 Fill in verbs in the correct form; ex. 5 Match the words to their opposites. -Right you are. T: Before reading the story look at the new expressions in bold with definitions, read and translate -every modern convenience: any modern appliance/invention which can be used in a house -who meant extremely well: who tried hard to do good but didn’t always succeed -paying dull calls: to visit someone who is dull - its charm lasted in its full perfection: it was perfect and delightful -broken to bits: broken into tiny pieces -darken their lot: make their life miserable. 4. T: I’ll start the sentence you’ll continue. -I don’t suppose they had ever thought about…………. -Next came Peter, who was…………. -She was almost always there…………. -Mother did not spend all her time……… -These tree lucky children always had…. -Among his presents was……. - Right you are. T: Translate my sentences into English: -Они были обычными детьми, жили с мамой и папой в обычной вилле из красного кирпича, цветными окнами, узким коридором, ванной, электрическим звонком, со всеми полагающимися удобствами. -Мама не тратила своё время на скучные визиты и разговоры. -У них была добрая, весёлая няня и их собственная собака. -И ты думаешь, что они просто обязаны были быть счастливыми? -Джеймс был так напуган, что он убежал и не возвращался целый день. T: Try to find the descriptions of main characters in the text. 6. Построение монологических высказываний. T: Try to make short stories. Describe a character’s personality. The 1st student-is describing Mother, the 2nd - is describing Father, the 3d.- is describing Their children). T: The mother is reliable and loving because she is always there to help the children with homework and everything they need. She is creative and imaginative because she writes stories and poems for her children. 7. Подведение итогов. Рефлексия. T: What have you learned at the lesson? Look at this slide (приложение).
