Тема урока: Так называемый друг.
Общее количество часов - 11
Место урока в системе уроков: третий урок в модуле.
Цель урока:
формирования языковых и речевых навыков.
Задачи урока:
познавательный аспект — знакомство c высказываниями британских и американских подростков о друзьях и дружбе;
развивающий аспект — развитие догадки; развитие способности к антиципации, сравнению, сопоставлению, прогнозированию; развитие внимания, памяти; развитие умения использовать в качестве опоры речевые образцы и логико-синтаксические схемы;
воспитательный аспект — формирование потребности и способности понимать особенности дружеских взаимоотношений в англоязычных странах, разные взгляды на проблемы дружеских взаимоотношений между людьми;
учебный аспект — формирование лексических навыков чтения и говорения;
сопутствующая задача совершенствование произносительных навыков, развитие умения читать/понимать на слух с целью полного понимания текста и с целью извлечения конкретной информации, умения прогнозировать содержание текста, воспринимаемого на слух, умения переводить с русского языка на английский.

Содержание урока:
I. Организационный момент.
Hello, students, glad to see you. … How are you today? … Ok. Sit down, please, and get ready to work.
II. Сообщение темы и целей урока
Children, before we begin our lesson let's listen to the song and watch a video. What is the song about? Песня "Friends are Quiet Engels" (Приложение 1)
Well, we are going to tell about friends and friendship. The topic is "Some Friend!" During the lesson we'll try to answer the following questions:
1. What traits of character should a friend have?
2. What is a friend and friendship?
3. What problems have you got with your friends?
Also, we will revise words describing people's character qualities, you will learn how to express sarcasm and anger and you will get some new words and phrases on the topic.

Friendship is a thing for two,

Friendship is a doing thing.
IV. Речевая зарядка.
- What shows that you are friends?
- What is special about your friends?
- Explain why do you make friends with each other?
- Do you think you are good friends?
- What do you think true friends must do?
- Which traits of character do you look for in a friend?
- What is your friend like?
V. Проверка домашнего задания.
- Your home task was to describe your friend. We are ready to listen to you. (Дети описывают характеры своих друзей, используя изученную лексику)
- Mini-test "What's my character?" (Приложение 2)
VI. Основные этапы урока.
1. Чтение с извлечением конкретной информации.
Предтекстовый этап.
Children, you will listen to the dialogue of ex.3, p.12. But before listening to it read the first two exchanges and answer the questions.
Текстовый этап.
Now listen, read and check yourselves.
(Answer key: 1. They are friends. 2. Because Julie cancelled her plans again. 3. Kim is telling Laura why she is angry with her friend.)
Послетекстовый этап.
Read the dialogue again. Use the words/phrases in the columns of ex.4, p.13 to make as many true statements as possible.
(Answer key: Laura thinks Julie is nice. Laura thinks Kim isn't being fair. Laura wants to rent a DVD. Kim thinks Julie is selfish.)
Which expression does Kim use to tell Laura she is annoyed?
(Answer key: "I've had enough.")
2. Введение новых лексических единиц. (Expressing sarcasm/anger)
Read expressions in ex.8, p.13 and repeat them after me. Which express sarcasm/anger? What could the other speaker say?
(Answer key: sarcasm - 1,4: anger - 2,3,5,6,7)
Now listen to expressions in ex.7, p.13, repeat them after me and do the task. Choose the correct response to the statements then listen and check.

3. Практика новых лексических единиц в речи учащихся.
Children, let's make a dialogue using new phrases. Imagine the situation: your friend is always borrowing things from you and never gives them back. Complain to your partner. Use the dialogue in ex.3 as a model and a dialogue plan on the board.

Now listen to a radio interview with British teenagers giving their views on friendship. Number the statements in the order you hear them. There is one extra statement.

Your home task is to prepare a two-minute talk about friends following the plan in ex.11, p.13
